A Little About Eco SCUBA

At Eco SCUBA, we pride ourself on our customer satisfaction. Good enough is never enough for the staff and crew at our shop. We strive to ensure that you get the most exciting and unique divng experience that the Keys have to offer. We also hope that you will leave our boats with a new-found, more focused view of the marine environment. Eco SCUBA is a family owned business that is driven by conservation and preservation of the reef and ocean life in general. So, come dive with us today!

One of the things that sets us apart from all of the other shops in Key West is the fact that we are the closest in location to all of the great dive sites. We are constantly finding new locations, on a regular basis, for returning customers that grow tired of the same old trips to Rock Key and Joe’s Tug.

Located At King’s Point Marina

Eco SCUBA can be found on Stock Island just a short drive east from Key West, over the Cow Key Channel bridge.  We share a building with Florida Yacht Charters and our boat leaves from King’s Point Marina.  We provide free ample parking and our dock is near to our shop so, the walk is very short.

Why Eco SCUBA?

Good question. What makes us different from the rest of the pack, just about everything. We are the only “green-oriented” dive shop in the area. We make “Eco” fun. We go to places many dive shops don’t even know exist! Our location and state of the art boat(s) means, we get you to the dive sites and in the water faster than any other shop in the area. That includes the Vandenberg!

Here’s just one more example of Eco SCUBA’s commitment to ultimate service. Many dive shops give provide  good service in the shop or on the boat. Only Eco SCUBA gives you the best service under the water, too! And it’s all included in the price of your trip. While most  dive shops in Key West keep their Divemaster’s on the boat, only Eco SCUBA puts them in the water! That’s right-every dive. So now, instead of paying as much as $75 extra for a guide, you can take advantage of our knowledgeable Divemasters on every dive at NO EXTRA COST! Now you can be sure of seeing all the great sights you might have missed on your own! And, forget about using a compass.We don’t think that helping you on and off the boat is enough service. We believe you want more.  Only Eco SCUBA can provide first class service to you!

We understand that some people  feel that they do not need or want a guide. You can go on your own. We don’t mind. If you want to explore without our Divemaster, you can. If you choose not to  stay with the guide, isn’t it nice to know that you have a trained professional down there in case you change you mind or you  need assistance? . Whether you take advantage of our guides, or take out on your own, remember that Eco SCUBA has your best interests at heart!

Eco Like We Mean It

Eco SCUBA isn’t just another company jumping on the “Eco” bandwagon. We have made a commitment to do all we can to reduce our own carbon footprint. We are determined to educate our customers about how they can have an impact on the world’s green health through their own individual actions. If we all learn to be a little more “Eco-conscious”, then the world will be a better place to live.

Do Your Part

So, what can you do? You’re just one person. How can you have a significant impact on the health of our world?  The answer is simple. You do all you can: recycling, fuel efficient cars and using eco friendly products.Change some light bulbs in your house to energy efficient fluorescent bulbs. Cut down on the number of lights you leave on in the house. Do the laundry in the morning or evening, instead of mid-day when it’s hot out and the A/C is working the hardest. Recycle glass and paper. Set an example for your family, friends and neighbors. Some may jump on your bandwagon and make some changes in how they address the green issue. Their family, friends and neighbors are influenced-a domino effect. Pretty soon a trend develops. No miracle cure. No secret plan. No special fix. Just people changing the way they think and acting accordingly-doing the right thing. It really IS just that simple!
